Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible partner JP as well as my happiest Dad Henry are also part of our family. A majority of my followers know me via my Instagram @annephung where I share my daily life, highs, lows, and everything in between. My parents took my family to America in the year 1990, at which point I was just a year old. I wouldn't be sharing my story with you today had my parents not worked hard and make sacrifices. When I realized that I had the potential to achieve a better future, I was determined to succeed and make my parents happy. My plan of life was for me to attend university, find an employment in a company, marry and buy a home. That was my ideal of what it would take to be successful. But life had other thoughts. In 2013, I realized that I was not happy going to work at my corporate job. The status and the money didn't inspire me. I believed that I was just wasting my time in exchange for money. The year 2013 was when I discovered that my true passion was exercising. I also loved socializing and being able to aid others. As I moved towards the new direction of my life, I started to find personal training. In this year, I am celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014, I started my own company. Within this industry it is not a lot of Asian females. I strive to be a change maker within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help individuals to be healthier and happier person by establishing a sustainable lifestyle cater to the individual needs and desires. In addition, I wish for everyone to be able to follow their dreams and accomplish whatever they want in life. My career exploded as I experienced the greatest success in my entire life. However, my mother passed away just when my professional life began to fall off. After an eight-year struggle for a condition called Scleroderma, she's at peace on Heaven. I will never forget her, and always keep her in my thoughts as well as my heart. Even if you can't see it initially, the universe is a way of offering us the things we need. Her passing has changed my life in a variety of ways. I believe her passing gave me an opportunity to begin a new chapter. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. Now it was time to go on to her next chapter and for me to have the chance to live an authentic and satisfying life. When I reach the 30's I am more vibrant than I have ever. I am able to say that I am living my life now, and not just surviving like I was in the past. As I tell my story I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for those of yours. I hope that my words will make you aware that you're not alone. I believe that you are blessed with the ability to achieve everything you desire. Only one life is yours. I want you to live it to the fullest.
