Her birth date was the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). The mother of two is Mexican American and is American through citizenship. Her passion for sports started as a young toddler. Gerina began to play golf when she was 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School. She was the winner of New Mexico's state golf championship. Also, she was a volleyball player and competed at the national level. Her first college was at the University of Texas. As a senior, she won each tournament that was entered. In her time at college she was awarded the Conference USA Player of The Award and the UTEP Female Sports Athelete Award.
